Guided Imagery Prompt
Close your eyes…relax every muscle…take a deep breath…now imagine that you are driving along a wooded road…there are beautiful trees stretching over a wide extent…all around you are wonders of nature…you drive for another half mile until the wooded area abruptly ceases…you instantly see a large, handsome, stone, old house…this house sits on hill backed by a ridge of woody hills… in front of the house is a stream with great natural appearance…there is so much natural beauty that surrounds the house…you look again at the entire picture before you…it almost looks like a painting of a perfect landscape scene…you imagine the peace and tranquillity of living in such a beautiful home…you descend the hill and cross the bridge…a housekeeper of the house offers to show you the interior…you enter a large room that is handsomely decorated…you look out the window onto a spectacular view of the surrounding land…there is the river winding around the grounds…the trees scattered on the bank…a winding valley…the rest of the rooms in the house are lofty and full of fine furniture…you admire the elegance and the taste of the owner…you greatly admire the house and are very comfortable there…now slowly open your eyes…how do you feel?…
