English Society
The English Society creates a venue for extracurricular social interaction and meaningful camaraderie for those individuals studying English at BYU. It also aims to supplement formal BYU English Department course instruction with additional intellectual interactions between interested students and faculty, helping all students to be more successful in their academic pursuits. Finally, the English Society desires to foster English-related service and educational activities that promote Christ-centered living for those studying English at BYU and for the community at large.
Goals:
- Prepare students for life after graduation
- Improve student involvement and communication
- Create a sense of community among undergraduate English students (including students in English related programs)
