Full-time Faculty and Tenure Track
The Department of English typically invites applications in the fall each year for continuing status track positions (all areas considered) pending funding approval. Successful candidates will show evidence of excellence in teaching and significant scholarly potential. Rank open. Salary, benefits, and teaching load competitive. One-year Appointments
The English Department hires full-time visiting faculty members as needed. Applicants must have completed a graduate degree in English (MA, MFA, or PhD) and must have experience teaching university-level composition or literature courses. The typical teaching load for these positions is 4-4-1 (four courses during the fall, four during the winter, and one during the spring or summer).
